JG Consulting Associates Expands Rural Healthcare Leadership Support
JG Consulting Associates is pleased to announce that Jeremy Ensey has joined the organization as an associate consultant focused on Critical Access Hospital strategic planning, operations, and leadership support.
Jeremy brings more than 30 years of healthcare experience, beginning in ICU, ER, and nursing leadership roles before serving as Chief Nursing Officer and later CEO of St. Luke Hospital and Living Center in Marion, Kansas. Following his time at St. Luke, he also served in an interim CEO role, further expanding his operational and governance experience within rural healthcare organizations.
During his tenure at St. Luke, Jeremy helped lead significant organizational growth through strategic service line development, physician recruitment, operational expansion, and long-term financial sustainability initiatives.
Working alongside Jean Garten and JG Consulting Associates, Jeremy will assist Critical Access Hospitals and rural healthcare organizations with strategic planning, organizational growth initiatives, operational strategy, and board and leadership alignment. In addition to strategic planning retreats and workshops, JG Consulting Associates also offers ongoing monthly or quarterly strategic review support, dashboard development, and executive coaching.

JG Consulting is excited to announce Betsy Burress will join the team as an Associate after her graduation in May. Betsy has been an intern with JG Consulting since November 2024 and is looking forward to joining full-time. Betsy is currently in her second year of the Master of Health Administration Program at the University of Florida. Previously, she studied Life Sciences at Kansas State University and worked as a Certified Nurse Aide during that time. She is passionate about finding creative solutions to problems and implementing them through strategic planning.
JG Consulting is proud to announce Navneet Kaur has joined the team as a new Associate. Navneet will work with clients to assist them in achieving their goals while focusing on their credentialing and contracting needs. Navneet recently graduated with her Master’s in Health Services and Administration from the University of Kansas Medical Center. She is a driven professional who is passionate about health care and improving outcomes by continuously providing services to help our clients implement best practices in achieving the quadruple aim.

Jean has over 40 years of experience helping hospitals maximize their potential. She has held leadership positions in hospitals, healthcare systems, performance improvement companies, and a for-profit national managed care company.
She finds joy in cultivating creative, thoughtful solutions to complex problems, and watching her expertise be put to work and impact the communities of the hospitals that she partners with.
Since establishing JG Consulting in 2011, she has served over 100 hospitals and physician groups in various capacities.
